The Rock is a very safe machine, mainly since the users are never more than a few feet from the ground. We have however taken several significant steps to ensure The Rock will provide a safe and enjoyable climbing environment: The aluminium panel design is the first to provide a pinch proof climbing surface. We have had a 9 piece wedge safety mattress constructed by the UK's leading safety mattress company. The Rock has two easily accessible STOP buttons for immediately stopping the machine by the user or operator. When operating in an indoor environment The Rock is equipped with a lower and upper infra-red sensors which automatically stops the machine if the climber gets too low or too high on the machine. Our machines hold ADIPS annual safety certificates in accordance with HSG 175. This consists of a design review, assessment of conformity to design, initial test and a risk assessment. We provide "Pro-Tec" safety helmets for all climbers Climb The Rock Ltd has Public Liability Insurance to a £5,000,000 limit of indemnity on any one occurance with Lloyds of London.
